ITS 967X7179M001 - Flame Scanner Installation Cable

Flame Scanner cable with high temperature and shear resistance and comes with a length of 50 meters (164ft).

This is a high-quality replacement for the OEM cable, for connecting the Flame Scanner to the control system. The 3-pin cable is protected by an braid of nickel plated copper, opt cov >85% and covered by an Teflon PTFE insulation.

Flame Scanner Cable Protection System

There are many issues with the flame monitoring process which result from broken or abraded connection cables. Damages to the cable caused by vibrations or careless maintenance personnel can hamper the effectiveness and accuracy, or even the functionality of the flame scanning system and the safe operation of the gas turbine.

Therefore we have anticipated the needs of our customers by producing a more sophisticated alternative to the OEM Part.

Our part consists of a metal hose covering the cable from the Flame Scanner to the junction box. This stainless steel cable hose is especially important because of its resistant nature. Over the past it has come to light that the cable which this metal hose is intended to cover and protect, has been prone to great damage causing a ripple effect concerning other parts of the gas turbine.

ITS 967X7179M101, M102, M103 - Cable Protection Connector

With either a 180°, a 90° or straight connector depending on your needs, you can connect the hose structure to the Flame Scanner and the junction box easily. These pieces by ITS are made out of stainless steel, instantly increasing the sustainability of not only the tube type but also the cable which it protects. Union threads at key positions allow easy assembly. The connector meets international industrial standards.

ITS 184X0251M461 - Connecting cable spirally-wound metal protective conduit

This stainless steel cable hose is especially important because of its resistant nature. Over the past it has come to light that the cable which this metal hose is intended to cover and protect, has been prone to great damage causing a ripple effect concerning other parts of the gas turbine.

ITS Industrial Turbine Services has consequently recognized the need for such a product and has developed a tensile, heat resistant product which can carry heavy mechanical loads.

This hose is fully applicable in many areas such as off shore installations, in a mechanical demanding environment, the steel industry or power plants. In reaction to the feedback received from our field engineers we have realized the need for the correct protective equipment to ensure that the flame scanning process as well as all other operational areas of the gas turbine can function without handicap for longer periods of time.

By default, 3 meters are supplied, but can be ordered according to the required length.

ITS 184X0251M481 - Metal protective conduit system fitting set

This is part of the Flame Scanner cable protecting system and is used in combination with the protective conduit hose. The fitting set consists of two assemblages. One of them is for the connector on the Flame Scanner side and the other is for connecting to the junction box fitted with a 3/8" (M16x1,5/2) thread. Depending on the manufacturer of the junction box, an adapter converting 3/8" to 1/2 ", 3/4" or 1 " may be necessary.

The fitting set is made from nickel-plated brass and stainless steel which makes it particularly good for its intended use as it can withstand the high ambient temperatures and vibrations created within the gas turbine environment.

You would not require any special tools for fixing the conduit hose to the Flame Scanner connector or to the junction box reliably and permanently which makes all of these parts as a collective easy to assemble and take apart.

ITS 184X0251M482 - Junction Box Fitting Set

Depending on the manufacturer of the used junction box, the connection thread may vary. This set covers the common thread sizes of the best known manufacturers. It allows a conversion from 1/2", 3/4" or 1" to the used 3/8" for the hose fitting set ITS 184X0251M481.

The parts are made of stainless steel and they meet international industrial standards.
